These terms

These terms are between you and Mahmoud Ahmed (“we”), who publish Ranna. By using Ranna you agree to them. Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to Ranna from the App Store; these terms add to it.

What Ranna is, and isn’t

Ranna reads and organises your own records on your iPhone. It doesn’t hold or move money, and it isn’t financial, tax or legal advice.

Amounts, shops and categories that Ranna reads or guesses can be wrong. Check anything important against your bank.

Ranna Pro

• Pro is bought through the App Store, at the price it shows in your currency.
• Yearly renews by itself unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the year, in iPhone Settings. Free trial days end the same way.
• Lifetime is a single payment for the Pro features described in the app when you buy it.
• Refunds are handled by Apple.

Your data and your recovery key

Your data stays on your device. Automatic backup is locked with your recovery key: we can’t open it or reset the key. If you lose both your recovery key and your iPhone, your backup can’t be recovered. We delete backups that haven’t had a new copy for 12 months.

Families

Invite only people you know, who agree to join. You’re responsible for what you share. Whoever runs a family can remove members; members keep a read-only copy of what was shared while they were in.

Fair use

Don’t try to break, overload or reverse-engineer Ranna’s server, or to reach anyone else’s data. We may stop server features for anyone who does.

Changes and availability

We work to keep Ranna running, but can’t promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Features may change. If we ever stop a server feature, we’ll say so in the app well ahead of time; Ranna on your iPhone keeps working with your data.

Liability

As far as the law allows, Ranna is provided as it is, and we aren’t liable for indirect losses or for decisions made with it. Nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.

Law

These terms follow the laws of France. If you’re a consumer, you keep the protections of the law where you live.
